மஹரிஷி வசிஷ்டரின் பிள்ளையின் பிள்ளை (பேரன்) பராசரமஹரிஷி. இவரே வேத வ்யாஸ்ரின் தந்தை. புராணங்களில் ரத்னமான ஸ்ரீவிஷ்ணுபுராணத்தை இயற்றிய மகாத்மா இவரேயாவர். சுவாமி ஆளவந்தார் இயற்றிய ஸ்தோத்ர ரத்நம் எனும் நூலில் புராண ரத்னம் இயற்றிய மகரிஷி ரத்நமான பராசரரைப் புகழ்கிறார்.
தெளிந்த தத்வ அறிவை உடையவராம் பராசரர். ம்ருதுவாகவும், சாந்தமாகவும் பேசும் இவர், அதே சமயம் தனது வலிமையான கருத்துக்களை ஆணித்தரமாக முன்வைத்து எதிரணியினரை வாயடைக்கச் செய்து விடுவாராம்.
“பரா: – என்றால் எதிரணியினர் என்று பொருள். சர: – அம்பு மழை பொழிவது போன்று வாதங்களை முன்வைத்து அவர்களை அடக்கும் வெற்றி வீரர பராசரர் என்பது பொருள்” எங்கிறார் சுவாமி தேசிகன்.
முதிர்ந்த ஞானியான இவரின் வாதங்கள் பரப்ரம்மமாகிய பகவானின் பெருமையை உலகறியச் செய்கிறதாம்.
அதே போன்று கூரத்தாழ்வான் திருக்குமாரர் பராசர பட்டரும் இந்த சம்ப்ரதாயத்தின் தீபமாகத் திகழ்ந்தார்.
மூன்றாம் பராசரன்:-
இன்று 9.11.2019 (ஐப்பசி.23) நமது தேசத்தின் காவல் தெய்வமான ஸ்ரீராமபிரானின் பெருமைதனை “தோலாத தனிவீரன்” உலகறியச் செய்தார் வழக்கறிஞர் திரு.பராசரன் அவர்கள். மகாத்மா பராசர மகரிஷி போன்றே பழுத்த பகவத் அநுபவம், அநுக்ரகம் பெற்ற இவரின் ராமபிரான் விஷயமான தொண்டு மகத்தானது.
வாதங்களாகிய மழையினால் ப்ரதி வாதிகளை வியக்கும்படி செய்து தர்ம ஸம்ஸ்தாபனம் செய்த திரு “கேசவ பராசரனுக்கு” பல்லாண்டு பாடுவோம்.
“ஸநாதந ரத்னமான” இவரின் ராம கைங்கர்யம், ராமாயணத்தின் புகழ், ராமபிரானின் புகழ் உள்ளளவும் நிலைக்கும் என்பது திண்ணம். ஸம்ப்ரதாய ஆசார்யர்கள் இவருக்கு மாபெரும் பாராட்டு விழா நடத்தி, அடுத்த தலைமுறையினருக்கு இவரின் தொண்டினை அறிமுகப்படுத்த வேண்டுமென்று பேராவலுடன் எதிர் பார்க்கிறேன்.

Parasaran’s victory
Sage Parasara is the grand son of sage Vasishta and the father of Sri Veda vyasa. This eminent sage composed “Sri vishnupuranam” which is considered to be the gem of puranas. Swami Alavandar in his stotra ratnam hails him as the gem among sages who authored the gem among puraanas.
Sage parasara has in depth knowledge on the sanatana dharma with unprecedented clarity. He is said to be soft spoken with great equanimity of mind who on the other hand when arguing against the enemies would strongly emphasise and irrevocably establish the right facts and opponents dumbstruck.
The word “para” means enemies and “sara” means arrows. Thus swami Vedanta desika quotes that the name “parasara” by itself indicates that his arguments would fall like rain of arrows aimed at the opponents and defeat them.
With ripened knowledge and enormous wisdom, this sage’s arguments reveal to the world the greatness of “parabramham”.
In the same manner, swami koorathazhwan’s son parasara bhattar, is also a jewel of our Sri Vaishnava sampradhaya.
The third Parasaran-
Today 09/11/2019 (ipassi 23), the glory of our nation’s protector lord Sri rama has been brought to light by the “one man army”, veteran advocate Sri Parasaran ji. Just like sage parasara, with astute wit and abundant blessings from the lord, this humongous service rendered by him to Ram Lalla is immeasurable.
To this illustrious personality who made his opponents awestruck by his unshakable arguments, we bow down humbly with respect and pay our obeisance.
It is not an exhaggeration to laud him as the gem of sanathana dharma. His yeoman service to lord Sri rama and the holy book srimadh ramayana will always be etched in our hearts and minds.
We eagerly look forward at the acharyas and other learned scholars of our sampradhaya to celebrate and honour advocate Sri parasaran’s triumph and show to the next generation the significance of his services to sanathana dharma.
